Christmas has come a little early for the Pacific Coast U17 boys’ team as they enjoy a winning run on their mini trip to Hawaii.

The young Grizzlies are undertaking their first ever tour to Hawaii.

Players of the game were Sanft (2), Lemoto Filikitonga (2) and Nate Igel.

Game #2 saw Pacific Coast prevail 51-0 against the Oahu All-Stars Saturday in Honolulu’s Kapiolani Park.

Alufangia Sakalia Jr (East Palo Alto Razorbacks) started the scoring with a try off a scrum move by the Grizzly forwards.

Further tries were posted by Calvin Sunia-Mafileo (Rio Linda), Matt Griffin (Cougars RFC), Sanft and Sean Osborn (Motherlode).

Players chosen by the Oahu side as men of the match were Jesse Milne (Marin Highlanders) and Jeff Calzaretta (Marin Highlanders).

The U17s’ third and final game is set for Wednesday when they'll play the Big Island Selects in Kona.
