Kutztown's Chris Pettine takes it up
|
The team that has benefited the most this week is Boston College. The Eagles have leapfrogged a couple of other teams following their victorious 40th anniversary match, while Texas A&M has gone the other way on the back of a couple of losses on the road in Utah.
UC Davis also has profited from other teams’ misfortunes even though they’re still idle. The Aggies have a new head coach in Andy Malpass, who steps in to fill the void created by Steve Gray’s decision to step down.
Ohio State moves up a spot after another good win, Rutgers falls one place behind a loss in the final regular season game in the Met New York Conference, while Oklahoma reappears in the rankings after a lengthy hiatus. The Sooners have been racking up some impressive Ws along the way. And Vassar dropped out altogether following their loss to Columbia in Met New York, a result that knocked the Brewers out of contention for a shot at a place in the Northeast playoffs.
