The Blue Hens built a solid 26-0 halftime lead and didn’t look back.
Captain and eightman DJ Wolf again had a storming game scoring four tries on the night.
In all, Delaware scored nine tries. Delaware’s overall speed and quick passing were too much for UPenn, who had few answers to the onslaught.
“We played great,” Delaware head coach Bjorn Haglid told ARN. “We had a good game plan set on Thursday and stuck to it during the game.
"Good kicking game on our part with strong attacking that Penn could not overcome. We are looking forward to our game down in Richmond Va next Saturday against Kutztown."
The result saw Delaware improve to 7-2 overall.
The Blue Hens are due to face minor premiers Kutztown in one Mid-Atlantic semifinal, while Navy will square off against Penn State in the other semi. The two winners will then meet in the final to determine the Mid-Atlantic’s #1 and #2 seeds for the national Round of 16.
