Dartmouth takes the biggest hit this week and we have a new entry.
By virtue of its winning the NRU title, Army has forced its way into the top 5 although the Black Knights haven’t displaced Delaware which ran the table in the Mid-Atlantic Premier League and clinched the minor premiership.
The Premier League has a higher Power Rating because it’s a much tougher Conference than anything in the Northeast, therefore UD’s unbeaten run carries more weight.
LSU and Texas A&M also move up after big wins in their respective Texas Conference openers, while St Mary’s is back in the top 10 after dispatching two Division I men’s teams to start its preseason.
Likewise, Bowling Green is on the way up after securing the Midwest’s lone seed for the national Round of 16 and UC Davis also climbs the rankings after sweeping their doubleheader weekend road trip.
Dartmouth’s upset defeat by Syracuse has hurt the Big Green big time as they plummet and after another loss, Colorado State drops out altogether making way for Oregon State.
OSU has been quietly beavering away in the Pacific Northwest Conference this fall and is currently running second to Central Washington.
