San Diego State in particular takes a big dive after its two heavy losses, while Utah also drops as a result of its first defeat of the season.
Their slide makes way for UC Davis to move into the top 3 for the first time ever on the ARN rankings as the Aggies remain unbeaten on the season.
The downward movement of both the Aztecs and Utes also creates room for LSU, St Mary’s and Arkansas State to inch their way up the ladder.
Two other teams that have benefited from solid LVI outings are Central Washington and Colorado.
And further down the rankings, Florida State continues to show that it deserves its promotion to DI.
