NRU releases championship draw

The Northeast Rugby Union has released the draw for this weekend’s semifinals and final.

White Plains will lock horns with Long Island in the early game Saturday, while Mystic River will duke it out with Old Blue in the late game.

On Sunday, the first matchup to determine the NRU’s third and fourth seeds will be between the two teams that fall on Saturday, kick off is scheduled for 3:30p EDT. The NRU championship game that will also decide the two top seeds, will kick off at 5p EDT.

All of the matches will be played on field turf at Columbia University, in New York City.

All four teams will then proceed to the CR4 round of matches against the best from the Mid-Atlantic. NRU #1 and #2 will remain at home to face MARFU #4 and #3 respectively, and NRU #3 and #4 will hit the road.
