The Division I semifinal matchups are all set as the quarterfinal games finished Sunday in Columbia, SC.

The Olympic Club made its way to the semis in their 19-10 win over Life University. Former Eagle skipper Kort Schubert returned to competition after taking several months off due to injury.

"Our forward pack was pretty dominant and I think really gave Life a hard time," Olympic Club head coach Ray Lehner told ARN. "Their backs semed like they wanted to attack, they just didn't have a platform to do it from. Of special mention Tony Petruzella, Chris Clever, Kort Schubert and Brian McLenahan, who were all exceptional, as was captain Andrew Armstrong in the tight."

The Austin Blacks won their Round of 16 tilt against the South Side Irish 27-7 after Saturday's match was delayed due to severe weather and then came out and blasted San Mateo 40-13 to set up their match against O-Club to see who goes on to the final. San Mateo beat Long Island 36-7 to complete their weather-delayed match as well.

Hayward and the Cincinnati Wolfhounds both had tough matches and go on to face each other in the other semifinal game. The Griffins nipped Pearl City 17-15 and the Wolfhounds got by the Santa Barbara Grunions 25-15.

Unfortunately the last four teams have a month-long break before they meet up in San Diego on June 9 and 10 to determine the champion for 2007.
