The match was played before a crowd of 250 at the San Francisco Gaelic Football Association.
"We will take the win and the bonus point but if we are honest the score flatters us as we were poor and we never got out of 1st gear,” said O-Club head coach Ray Lehner.
“San Mateo played harder than we did but perhaps lacked some structure.
"Peter (Galicz) scored a couple opportunistic tries and of course, Rikus (Pretorious), Louis (Stanfill) and AA (Andrew Armstrong) were standouts all day but we are a long way from where we need to be. We need to be an improving rugby team each week and at the moment we are not."
Olympic got five tries all up from Galicz (2), Dan Blake, Pretorius and Stanfill. Galicz added a couple of conversions to round out the scoring.
San Mateo replied with two converted tries.
