"The conditions were the worst I have seen in a while; it was literally like playing rugby in a swamp. Both teams had a difficult time holding onto the ball,” said O-Club coach Ray Lehner.
"Our back row trio of Louis Stanfill, Steven Patch and Kort Schubert linking up in defense and attack really carried the day.
"This bye week cannot come soon enough, we have 20 guys injured. Our IR list would make a pretty competitive side. We need this break to get some guys right."
Olympic Club led 19-5 at halftime behind tries by Jonathan Schaeffer, Jon Clarke and Brad Bachelder.
A second half try by Steven Patch, along with goals by Eoin O’Toole wrapped up the scoring.
Meantime, HARC continued their unbeaten start to the Texas Cup season with a 58-15 win against the previously undefeated Austin Huns in Houston.
HARC scored nine tries by nine players in conditions far more conducive to running rugby than those seen in Dallas two weeks ago.
