ARN would like to formally apologize to Nese Malifa for the coverage of the appeal that was lost.

The following statement from the article: "A reverse angle view of the ruck in which the Georgians claimed the biting took place reportedly showed that there was some kind of incident," unfairly suggests that Mr Malifa was involved in an incident with someone on the Georgian team.

ARN should have just reported that Nese Malifa lost his appeal for biting and will be suspended for six weeks. We have not seen the full appeal report. No one at ARN has seen the video in question.

Mr Malifa maintains his innocence and we shouldn't have reported any details without seeing the report, seeing the video, and hearing the testimony.
