Three delegates from National I club Batley Bulldogs are due to spend time with both South Sydney and Leeds to learn about their training methods, as well as meet with strength and conditioning trainers at the University of North Florida to get tips on how things are done in college football.
In other news, English Super League referee Phil Bentham will be the man in charge on Saturday. Bentham will be assisted by two American touch judges and he’s also penciled in to conduct a coaching seminar for US referees while in Jacksonville.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs arrived in the US last week, while the remainder of the Leeds Rhinos’ squad touched down at the weekend.
